These new digital art works have emerged from scanning my botanical sketches and dried flowers. I started experimenting using stitched textile fragments and threads and found the results very exciting.
This has become a vehicle for me to merge many techniques together to create a new type of art work that is otherwise difficult to achieve.
I do hope to further develop this way of working to feed it back into my textile wall pieces.
All prints are limited editions created from hand made, hand painted, drawn, stitched and photographed fragments of fabric, paper and thread that I have digitally enhanced and manipulated to create these original art works.
Each edition is printed to order on 100% cotton Hahnemühle inkjet William Turner paper using pigment inks.
Please visit my web shop if you would like to place an order.
Prints are unframed and unmounted.

Layered scanned fabrics, machine stitch, ink on paper and drawing.
This digital approach enables the combining of the texture of cloth and stitch, the free nature of hand painting, the tighter disciplines of botanical drawing and photography. By breaking down these surfaces and images using computer programming and adding multiple layers digitally new and original textile art prints can be created. This is not like a giclée print which is really a very good copy of an existing art work, this is a stand alone image created through many processes.
This is a shop I have on Etsy where I sell a selection of digital textile prints
and cards. All the art work is original and made by me from hand painted papers and fabrics with stitched work, gilding and the use of mixed media.
Each print is signed by me and printed on 100% cotton archival Hahnemühle inkjet paper using pigment inks. Prints are unmounted and unframed.
My limited edition prints and cards have further embellishments after printing using gilding metals and watercolours.
I use recycled card blanks and biodegradeable cellophane protective sleeves.
